SOS Hooked takes learning out to the water. Through sea and freshwater fishing, young people can build confidence, friendships and practical skills in a relaxed environment where conversation and connection can happen naturally.
Fishing skills, knots, rigs, species, bait, tides, weather, water safety and caring for our environment.
Time beside the water takes the pressure off, giving young people space to talk, laugh, build friendships and simply be themselves.
From Cornwall’s coast to freshwater locations, young people learn outdoors through real experiences rather than sitting behind a desk.
From first casts to first catches, SOS Hooked gives young people the chance to learn through real experiences. Sea and freshwater fishing can open the door to practical skills, wildlife and species identification, conservation, water safety, patience and problem-solving — while creating the space for friendships and conversations to develop naturally.
